Sporting heroes talk about mental health

The 'Heads Together' mental health initiative has created 6 films with some of the biggest names in football and other sports having candid, honest conversations about their mental health and how important it is to support each other.

We recently watched one with Rio Ferdinand and Owen Farrell talking about how they handle stress and anxiety when playing important games, and also how important it is to recognise anxiety within their teams.

The link below will take you straight to a web page containing all 6 of the short films.

Note: Heads Together is spearheaded by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and combines a campaign to tackle stigma and change the conversation on mental health along with fundraising for new mental health services.
