Back in 2016, the Big Lottery Fund awarded a grant of £750,000 to a women and girls 'Recovery and Empowerment Partnership' in Sheffield.

The grant was spread over 4 years with the aim of addressing the shortage of longer-term therapeutic services to enable women and girls to recover and move on with their lives after experiencing abuse.

The partnership brought Haven together with the following Sheffield support organisations:

Vida Sheffield
Ashiana
Young Women's Housing Project
Chilypep

With the grant funding period ending in 2020, the group have produced in impact report showing the differing approaches each of the 5 partners took when working therapeutically with women and girls, and data on the number of beneficiaries and sessions held.
