We believe that every child should feel special and valued at Christmas!

We don't believe that children should be made to feel like they don't deserve nice things...

And we don't believe that parent's should be made to feel guilty because they can't afford to buy nice things...

Our aim this year is to give every child we work with (and any siblings) a magical Christmas hamper full of joy and wonder. In order to make this happen we need the help of the community, we need YOUR help.

Many of Santa's little elves (local community groups) are already hard at work making and crafting small gifts to fill our hampers with. Could you join them by donating small store bought presents, hand crafted items or some hard earned pennies to ensure that no child goes without?

Vision and mission

Haven's vision is a world free from domestic abuse where children and young people are safe, and their voices are heard. Our mission is to influence, develop and provide specialist support services for children, young people and their families who are at risk of or affected by domestic abuse. All our work is underpinned by a trauma informed approach.

History of Haven

Haven House charity was established in 1975 as a refuge for women and children affected by domestic abuse. We have developed over the years and now provide a range of services for children and young people, and their wider family, in Sheffield and the surrounding area.
