  1. Our services

Covid-19 update

Since the start of the Covid-19 lockdown, we have continued to deliver our services, although in a very different way. Our priority is to make sure that we continue to support children, young people and their families.

We are accepting referrals, which you can make via the following link.

Making our services Covid-19 secure

We have adapted our programmes to ensure they are accessible in a range of ways. We offer virtual sessions, plus sessions in the home, outdoors and in schools.

Some of the changes we’ve made, include:

  • Full PPE safety measures are in place so that our practitioners can resume working with families in their homes and online.
  • Our online group programmes have been adapted and are restarting in September.
  • Our online resources (including an IT policy for working safely online) are being developed for delivery across all services.
  • All our staff now have the required equipment to enable them to effectively deliver their work remotely.

History of Haven

History of Haven

Haven House charity was established in 1975 as a refuge for women and children affected by domestic abuse. We have developed over the years and now provide a range of services for children and young people, and their wider family, in Sheffield and the surrounding area. We also provide services to professionals, helping them to support the children and young people that they work with. Read more
