Our volunteers are a valued part of the team and we will work with you to develop your skills and experience and find the role that best suits you and us.

What we offer:

As a volunteer you will complete an induction and training programme with us, then go on to support children, young people and their families share their stories, learn about healthy relationships, and build resilience for their future.

We offer a range of opportunities, including: helping to deliver a group session, working with a family, or 1-1 mentoring with a child or young person.

There are also opportunities to support with fundraising and office administration.

What we're looking for:

We need volunteers who are flexible, reliable and can make a commitment to our children and young people, and to the volunteer programme.

Checks and requirements:

All our volunteers are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and 2 suitable references.

Benefits of volunteering:

People volunteer with us for a variety of reasons, for example:

  • To gain experience in working with children.
  • To gain work experience in order to secure a job.
  • To give something back to your community.
