Following our successful picnic at home appeal in the summer, we have launched our Festive Winter Shoebox Appeal.

We want to provide shoebox gifts for 50 of our families to enjoy over the festive period. Can you help us by filling a shoe box or make a donation to give a family a special treat on a cold winter evening?

We estimate that each shoebox will cost around £15 to fill – you can support the appeal by either filling a shoebox yourself, or by making a donation on our website here.   

Some ideas for things to put in your shoebox: 

• Hot chocolate sachets
• Fluffy socks or slipper socks (for adults & children)
• A family friendly DVD
• Self-care or pamper items
• Books, magazines, comics
• Board game or card game
• Craft activities
• Colouring books and crayons
• Sweet treats or biscuits

All items should be new and in good condition. Please note we are unable accept any items containing alcohol or which are sharp (such as badges or sewing needles).

Drop off point:
Big Yellow Storage - Bramall Lane (S2 3DR). Please note this is accessed via an entrance on Queens Road.

Drop off opening hours:
Drop -offs can be made from Tuesday 1st December to Tuesday 15th December (inclusive) on
Mon-Fri (8am-6pm), Sat (9am-6pm) and Sun (10am-4pm).
