Haven are recruiting to a number of voluntary Trustee positions on our Board.

Supported by a skilled and dedicated team of paid staff and volunteers, we are looking for Trustees who can guide and enable us to continue to develop and expand our range of specialist services. We are currently based in Sheffield but are planning to develop our work across the region.

What qualities are you looking for in a Trustee?

As a provider of domestic abuse support services, we are especially interested in hearing from people with specialist knowledge, sector expertise or a passion for supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma.

We have adapted our Board sessions to include meetings via video-conferencing. We welcome enquiries from people based not only in Sheffield, but also from the wider South Yorkshire region and across the country.

Diversity is important to us and we therefore invite applications from people from all backgrounds and communities, particularly men and people from BAME backgrounds who are currently under-represented on the Trustee Board.

Commitment

Expected commitment is 4 Trustee meetings per year (with at least 2 meetings to be held via video conferencing), plus 1 or 2 Saturdays each year for service and strategy development.
